50km over limit goes to 40

A brief blurb in The Star (Sep 3 2010 pA12) says that effective 20 September, cars will be impounded for 40k/hr over the limit, as opposed to the current 50. This is in BC ( thanks to Brian Borison for pointing that out).
I've attached the press release from the BC Government. Part of what is says is:
Impoundment is in addition to existing penalties, which include: A fine of $368 to $483, depending on how excessive the speed. Three penalty points on a driver’s licence. An ICBC driver-risk premium of $320 per year for three years, over and above Autoplan insurance premiums.

An article in today's Star( Sep 2 2010 ) says that The Stig has been revealed to be 33 year old racing driver Ben Collins. Apparently the first one, Perry McCarthy left the show after being outed.

I saw the episode you refer to. It was tongue-in-cheek.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who participated in my daughter Kathleen's progress through the IDS and the track day on Sunday.
She had a great time, in large part because of patient and constructive approach taken, and a sense of inclusion imparted by both the instructors and others.
We have been working on doing a DE for a few years, ever since she helped (a bit) with an engine rebuild, and this weekend was a perfect realization of her goal.
(and, of course, the possible beginning of a slippery and likely expensive for dad slope)

Dent Repair
Posted 27 Days Ago By Terry Orr
I would just like to thank everyone that assisted me in finding the right person to repair my car that got damaged on the weekend. A number of individuals recommended Tony McGrath of Auto Cosmetic in Oakville, 416-948-4554 to do the repair . Even being as particular as I am told I am , Tony far exceeded my expectations . I hope you do not require his services but if you do, I strongly recommend him. He is not only a car guy, but is extremely conscientious and proficient at what he does. Thanks again to all for your assistance and in particular to Tony for the excellent job.
