Calling All Enthusiasts

TWENTY-FIVE PORSCHES AND 50 CLUB FANS descended upon Porsche Centre North Toronto on a quiet overcast Sunday morning on Sept. 19 for the second installment of the dealership’s fabulous Enthusiast Cruise Driving Tour.

After enjoying some delicious coffee, donuts and muffins, as well as taking in some of the most beautiful sports cars in the gleaming bright showroom, the crew headed north to experience some exhilarating twisty back roads in York Region and beyond. The tour was led by professional drivers from Porsche Canada, piloting a red Taycan as the lead car, a beige Taycan Cross Turismo in the middle, and a Cayenne as the sweeper. Two-way radios helped keep everyone together.

Porsche Centre North Toronto treated the group to a delicious lunch at Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge in Lindsay, a quaint little gem with a plethora of delectable food items. Everyone could order whatever they desired off the menu, compliments of our generous host and club supporter.

More sweeping curves and tight kinks awaited in the afternoon with the tour doing a full loop and wrapping up back at the dealership, where Managing Director Graham MacNab and club President Stefan Walther held a raffle for some amazing Driver’s Selection Porsche items — model cars, glass sets, umbrellas, backpacks, more. Many participants went home with a nice memento of the day’s incredible experience, from the second annual Porsche Centre North Toronto Enthusiast Cruise. </>
