Mar 11: UCR Ski Day

It is snowing in ski country, winter has arrived — PCA UCR Ski Day is coming up on Friday, March 11, returning to Osler Bluff Ski Club. The ski club has a full range of skiable terrain from beginner to expert with spectacular views over southern Georgian Bay. Being a private club means the lift lines are short allowing UCR members to maximize their time on the trails. Osler Bluff is just south of the town of Collingwood, about a two-hour drive from Toronto.

The day is open to PCA UCR members, immediate family, and a limited number of guests. The ski club currently requires that each person going on the property be fully vaccinated so the event is restricted to those so vaccinated. Osler will be setting up an online portal for each participant to provide their vaccine certificate at least three days prior to the event. There will also be a liability waiver for each participant to sign. The price for a lift ticket, payable on the day to Osler Bluff Ski Club and including HST, will be $92 per person for an adult, $72 for a student with ID, $65 for a child (ages seven to 12), $55 for a child (ages four to six).

Osler Bluff Ski Club’s new clubhouse was completed a little over a year ago and provides a restaurant for those who may wish to purchase lunch or beverages. There is also an area for those who may bring their own lunch. UCR will be arranging an après ski gathering for the group towards the end of the ski day.

Registration will open on Feb. 1 through ClubRegistration.net and close on March 7: https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/12199

Please contact Ski Day Chairs Tom Arndt or Don Lewtas at ski-chair@pcaucr.org with any questions.

UCR looks forward to seeing you out on the slopes at UCR’s 2022 Ski Day.
