Wow, what a difference a week makes!
The Cars + Coffee event originally scheduled for May 20 was fortunately rescheduled to May 27 — and what a great decision that was. The beautiful sunny conditions provided club members with a fantastic opportunity to meet up with one another and tour the Hagerty facility.
David Case, our host for the event and owner of Collector Car Canada, reported that about 140 people registered to attend, with approximately 160 cars showing up, covering three adjacent parking lots.
Porsche models of many types spanning every era were well represented, and great interaction was made possible by the location and the great weather conditions. The last time the club held an event at this location, it was more of an indoor gathering, as the Hagerty garage was packed with cars inside for winter storage. This time around it was all about the cars parked outside.
Don’t worry if you missed this event, as David Case is planning to host a couple more of these events later this season, one in the north and one in the east. The planned dates for the remaining CCC CCs with UCR are Sunday, July 16 and Sunday, Sept. 24, 9 to 11 a.m. EST, venues TBA.
Stay tuned for more details. </>
