Join us for the exciting Spring Waterfalls Gimmick Rally. Twenty-five Porsches, each carrying two people (driver and navigator) will depart at 30- to 60-second intervals from the town of Collingwood, eventually finishing off in the beautiful town of Creemore. We will discover lightly travelled back roads and will experience scenic waterfalls and lookouts. We will stop for an enjoyable three-course lunch at Walter’s Falls Inn where you will have an opportunity to get a closer look at the private Walter’s Falls, something only patrons of the inn or restaurant can enjoy. Our gimmick rally continues through the Blue Mountains and surrounding areas with additional visits to some of the area’s finest waterfalls. Bring some walking shoes as there will be opportunities to go for short strolls alongside the waterfalls, if you like. Our event will end at an exclusive reception at The Station On The Green in Creemore where we will sample some local fare (catered bite-sized food samplings paired with wine from a local boutique winery). You will also get a chance to visit some of the unique stores in Creemore including some surprises and special treats. This is where we will also have an awards ceremony. Gimmick rally quiz questions will be based on sightings along our route, our pit stops and other experiences. Photo courtesy of South Georgian Bay Tourism.
