Join PCA UCR members on Saturday, July 9 for the first Gourmet Niagara Driving Tour. After gathering for registration adjacent to the QEW, our first stop is one of the best-kept secrets in the Niagara area, the Painted Ladies of Grimsby Beach, a unique historical landmark. Our route features winding back roads, and a number of passes up and down the Niagara escarpment, with fabulous views of Lake Ontario. We are also planning a stop at a culinary market where you may choose to load up on some gourmet cheeses and baked goods. After some more twisty roads, we stop at one of the leading award-winning Niagara wineries for a private tasting and picturesque tour. Then, we enjoy some of the more challenging Niagara driving routes, with lots of blind curves and elevation changes. Finally, we have a late lunch at another renowned Niagara winery, which features private parking for our group, a guided tour by the gallery owner in their new art gallery, a highly regarded bakery, optional tasting, and socializing with fellow Porsche owners. We encourage you to bring a small cooler so that you can take home some goodies. You are also encouraged to spend the weekend in the area — there are many excellent, scenic, culinary and entertainment options.
Hosted by Gerry Cornwell and Jeff Millman
