Come and enjoy the fall colours north of Kitchener-Waterloo as we follow the Grand River for the inaugural Butter Tarts, Bridges And Barbecue Driving Tour! The route starts in northeast Waterloo and consists of everything a Porsche enthusiast could want — inspired views, corners, sweeping turns, dips, and straights.
We take in the sights along the beautiful country roads as we make our way to Belwood Country Market for some delicious, classic Canadian butter tarts, parade through some charming small towns and make one of our final Grand River crossings via the West Montrose Covered Bridge (AKA the Kissing Bridge). The bridge was built in 1881, is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places, and will serve as the backdrop for a video of the tour participants.
Our fabulous drive culminates in classic Porsche style with a delicious lunch and a group photo at Crowsfoot Smokehaus, a German-inspired barbecue spot just north of Waterloo.
Cost $59 (includes lunch), 20 Porsches
Registration opens Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. at https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/11463
