Celebrate all that is good and great about summer with this fabulous driving tour through Niagara wine country — a curvy route perfect for Porsches followed by a delicious gourmet German barbecue crafted by local chef Stacie Royds and hosted by fellow club member Klaus Reif, newly joined last year, at his namesake Reif Estate Winery, a founding winery of the region situated on the Niagara River in Niagara-On-The-Lake!

In addition, Klaus will lead a private tour and tastings for his fellow club members and their guests.  If that isn’t enough, Reif Estate Winery will offer a custom-labelled PCA UCR Special Reserve two-bottle pack (cabernet merlot and riesling) at a very special “club member only” price.

Klaus is a huge auto enthusiast and Porsche fan, currently owning many cars — three of them Porsches, two of them 911s. Reif Estate Winery has played host to many car club get-togethers including Corvette (Klaus owns two) and Tesla (Klaus says he’ll own one soon, unless the Mission E distracts him first).

This driving tour’s route is the very latest and greatest of Niagara’s twists and turns discovered from behind the wheel of Stefan Walther’s 2015 Guards Red Cayman, honed to perfection over seven driving tours, and features sections never before travelled on one of his PCA UCR events.

The tour wraps on the lawn of Reif Estate Winery where chef Stacie Royds will craft several new takes on German favourites — bratwurst, schnitzel, potato dumplings, unique salads — that you won’t want to miss!

Being the long weekend, perhaps book a bed and breakfast, and make this driving tour into a little mini vacation in Niagara.
