I recently purchased a 2000 C4 Cab and have started detailing the engine and found this wired part laying on the right side if the motor. It is covered in grime so I’m assuming it is an exposed part. Any help on confirming where it should reside would be greatly appreciated. To me it oops as if to could be the plunger to the light that is in your engine bay? December 30, 2013 at 9:39 am #5006 Mark GardinerParticipant Hi, Mike. It’s an air temperature sensor for the intake manifold (P/N 996-606-113-00-M14). I originally guessed at it, having recently disconnected the exterior sensor to remove my bumper to clean out the radiators on my 996C2. It looked similar and a quick search found the link attached. http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/more_info.cgi?pn=996-606-113-00-M14&catalog_description=&Air%2520Temperature%2520Sensor%252C%2520Boxster%252FBoxster%2520S%2520(1997-02)%252C%2520Each%2520%2520%2520%2520 Mark Author Posts Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
