ParticipantWe are deeply saddened to share the loss of Angie Herring who passed away on Sunday October 14.
Angie and Mark Herring are 37 year members at the Upper Canada Region. They are the longest serving volunteers who became UCR Membership Co-Chairs since 1983. We will remember Angie as a dedicated and devoted volunteer of UCR.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mark (Angie’s husband) and Ernie (Angie’s brother) at this difficult time.

ParticipantSo sorry for your loss, Mark and Ernie and Gunther.
Angie was a pleasure to be around. She always had a smile for me.
Her work on behalf of UCR was very generous.
Our thoughts are with the entire Jakubowski clan.October 16, 2018 at 10:33 am #26220andy wright
ParticipantVery sad news. Angie (and Mark) worked tirelessly to help new and existing UCR Members and build the club we have today. She will be missed.
Sincere condolences to Mark, Ernie, Gunther and Margret for your loss.

ParticipantI am posting this on behalf of Charlotte Chirinos, Customer Service and Merchandise Manager of PCA National Office:
I had the pleasure of working with Angie since 2001 when I came on board with PCA. She was an amazing person to work with and my only regret is that I never got the chance to meet her in person. She will be greatly missed.
My condolences to Mark and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

ParticipantDear Mark, Ernie and family,
I am very sad to read of Angie’s passing a few days ago.
Angie was, as with many, my first contact with Upper Canada Region.
She was a dear, sweet person with always a kind word when we spoke or
when I referred a new member. Her creme coloured 356A Damen coupe was
only 3 numbers from my ’58 356A, and we thought that was cool. I remember
fondly Mark and Angie bringing their well-behaved dog Quincy to
Gasthaus Schraeder in my early days with UCR (1987). He was as much
a regular as Angie and Mark. Angie and Mark were on board as
Membership Chairs during UCR’s rise over the decades and prominence
to be the fast growing and the dominant #1 region of PCA. Well done !!!
I had not seem Angie and Mark much in the recent years but I always
enjoyed the comfort of knowing she was there when it was time to
renew membership by phone. Bless you dear friend,
I hope the sun is on you in the next life and your afterlife road is paved and
smooth as a good Porsche road.
Our family thoughts are with you Mark & Ernie and family..
Sincerely, Rick Metcalfe, Mary and Jackie Metcalfe
