I purchased an ’87 944S with a 968 engine last year. The tach goes well past the red line and the car continues to pull at 7000+ rpm.

I can hear folks saying ‘Don’t do that!’…I know.

I was curious and had a look in the DME and saw an aftermarket chip with a white sticker that says 968 HEIM (written in pen). After some online searching, I wasn’t any wiser on who burned the chip or more importantly what the specs are.

    Anyone familiar with this chip?

Hey Robert, I’ve seen those before. Contact me directly and we can discuss.
