Has anyone ever used Seafoam products? Good ? Bad?
I have an 87 944S that runs well and is well maintained, top end was rebuilt about 8000Kms ago, would I benefit from using this?
When I look on tthe web, every single video and commnet swear by this stuff. It also create a huge amount of smoke for a while, assuming this is all the junk being blown out.
Bill, just got back from parade . Talked to a number of individuals about their older vehicles and in particular concerns of ethanol in the fuel and deterioration of fuel system components on older MFI 911s
Many swore by Sea Foam as an additive to minimize ethanol damage. While at parade I ran into a small starting /driveability issue which I believe was fuel related and decided to try sea foam. I have to admit the stuff seems to work. After a good run with the sea foam, car was back to starting and running well.
Can’t add much more, other than I just went out and bought a few cans . Currently on sale at CTC.
It ‘s worth a try.
