DRIVING TOUR: Grand River North

October 1

This popular tour exploring interesting roads north of Kitchener-Waterloo returns for its third year, departing at 10am from RIM Park in Northeast Waterloo.

Join fellow enthusiasts for an inspiring fall drive as we carve some of the twists and turns north and east of Waterloo, culminating in a delicious meal at the German-inspired Crowsfoot Smokehaus in Conestogo.

The route expands on last year’s drive (Butter Tarts, Bridges & BBQ) with even more amazing country views, corners, sweeping turns, dips and straights. One of the highlights from past year’s drives will return, the historic West Montrose Covered Bridge. Built in 1881, it is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places and serves as an opportunity to drive over a unique piece of the region’s history. Total driving distance is 157 kms. Users of Porsche’s Roads app have access to voice guided, turn-by-turn directions.

Please note: to offer maximum availability, if you already participated in the Grand River South tour (on June 10), you will not be eligible to participate in this tour.
