“It’s not just the cars, it’s the people.” PCA UCR is a car club that has a big social aspect. Sometimes when we cannot drive our Porsches as much, like in the winter, our members still get together for monthly socials, tech sessions, as well as a Ski Day in February.
UCR alternates between several great, smaller ski clubs in southern Ontario. The day’s activities include a hot lunch and a wonderful après ski with the group that usually includes a couple of great donated prizes. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ski Day was cancelled for 2021, however, we anticipate a return in 2022. In the past the club has also hosted a golf tournament in the summer. The club is currently looking at bringing this event back for 2022. If you have an idea for an exciting non-car social event for the club, send an E-mail to the president at president@pcaucr.org.
