1975 Porsche 911 “RSR” Vintage Race Car
Based on 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe (U.S.) VIN 911 5 400051
Complete race-ready car, very clean and expertly assembled; fully sorted. May need updated safety equipment, such as the driver harness.
Extensive weight-saving use of fiberglass panels, including front fenders and hood, rear quarter extensions and lid and wing, doors and bumpers, plus Lexan windows all around.
3.2-litre ‘short-stroke’ (74.4mm), twin-plug, MFI engine with 915 Transmission. All mechanical components have very low hours since their refurbishments/rebuilds, which includes the customized MFI pump prepared by MFI Werks, Oregon. Car has seen two Drive Festivals at Mosport (Canadian Tire Motorsport Park) only since complete refurbishment.
This car was first prepared for racing in the mid-90s in the United States and has HSR and PCA Club Racing log books dating back to 1997 with entries at Sebring, Daytona, Road Atlanta, Road America, Roebling Road, Mid-Ohio, etc.
The car was first sold into Canadian ownership in July of 2010, and purchased by its last owner in 2013.
Car can be seen and inspected in Vaughan, Ontario, near Hwy 400 and Langstaff Road.
