VIPS WERE PROMISED to make an appearance. And VIPs were very much delivered.

Porsche Centre North Toronto did not disappoint the 60 in-person attendees, plus additional 100 virtual on Zoom, at its Springtime club social on April 12, rolling out several Very Impressive Porsches for all to marvel at — a classic 959 that could certainly be called one of Porsche’s original supercars, and a 918 Spyder, a mighty successor. These in addition to other gorgeous sports cars in the showroom including a fresh-off-the-boat Taycan Sport Turismo GTS, several 992 911s, a last-generation 911 Speedster, some nice-spec Macans and Cayennes, as well as some rare pre-owned beauties.

Fleets food truck served up some delicious dinner. Club President Stefan Walther made some event announcements that included two collaborations with PCNT: the June 4 Enthusiast Cruise Driving Tour and the Aug. 21 Cars and Coffee. Host Gerry Cornwell spoke more about the driving tour; co-chair Peter Helston elaborated on the Shift Into Spring Open House, the upcoming big signature event that would happen later in the month.

Porsche Centre North Toronto Managing Director Graham MacNab thanked club members for all their support since the dealership opened in 2017, saying they are proud to support the biggest enthusiasts of the brand, and partner with the club whenever possible. Another big announcement was that Porsche Centre North Toronto was once again awarded the Premier Dealer award from Porsche Canada, for its continued exemplary customer service — one of only three in the country and the only one in Ontario.

Congratulations to Porsche Centre North Toronto and thank you to Graham MacNab as well as Marketing Director Lesley McLelland for hosting another exceptional event at their facility. Select Porsche prizes were awarded to both in-person and virtual attendees. </>
