It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Crawford Reid, surrounded by his family and loved ones. A revered figure in the civil construction industry and a cornerstone of our community, Crawford’s legacy is one of resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

After a courageous battle with cancer, in his 90th year, Crawford passed away peacefully at Stedman Hospice surrounded by the love of his family. Deeply missed by loving wife Josephine (Ferraccioli/Kempa) daughters Patti (Mario), Stefanie, Marina (Jay); Sandi (Mike), Robbie (Karissa) Mason, Jamie (Kate) Abbey. Stepchildren Greg (Deborah), Zackery (Ashley) Grace, Brynn, Reese, Alex (Cam); Eva Marie, Nick, Sam, Max; Christine (Bill), Michael (Katie); David (Kathy), Quinn, Mason; Joelle (Bruce) Ben, Julia, Cam. Survived by his sister Barb (Barry), predeceased by wife Joan and parents Barbara and Alex Reid.
Correction: Crawford was the proud owner of Oxford Sand & Gravel for many years and Past President of the Aggregate Producers Association Ontario (APAO). He was a pillar of the community while involved to name a few, the Jaycees. Rotary, Brantford General Hospital, CAA & Grand River Conservation Authority.
